You're a great planner cousin. ALOHA, enjoy
New life goal become rich buy this plain i’m bad The words, salmon plane into it and sell it and get on with my life As if nothing happened
Love this song
So lovely
he is sooooo handsome!!! I was there 2❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
The people in the very front were so lucky
Heard it will be closed down on 31 march 2 days later
Yes sadly this is the last year for this one
ガンダム、カッコ良かった!😊
OMG ITS AN ENGINE
Would've been nice to see the full takeoff and landing!
China Lake - B - 2 9 👍😀
What a simply gorgeous looking aeroplane..Can just imagine the thrill of the pilots flying these out of tinian island during the war.
Thx sharing. Do u still remember about what time u arrived at the hotel that evening? It seemed quite dark after leaving the station to the hotel. I m grateful if u can tell me for my reference because i have booked this hotel for my coming trip. Much thx
Hi there! I don't remember the exact time but it was very late maybe after 10PM but staff were available for check in.
What a gorgeous, pristine B29! Heartfelt congratulations to all those skilled, dedicated, patriotic men and women who tirelessly spent many long hours restoring this beauty. Time and money very well spent. Nice to see Doc join FiFI as the only two airworthy B29s. Should be dozens more! Government should be pumping money into projects like these restorations instead of their silly and ridiculous social programs. Love the sound of those big radials - just nothing like 'em!
funny how the propellors look like there hardly turning when landing
If you ever get a chance p,ease go visit “DOC” in Wichita, she is absolutely beautiful.
Oldie but Goodie, what beautiful plane! 🇺🇸
Rebuilt in Wichita, Kansas.
Originally built there too.
Was magnificent and mighty in the 40’s, still is today. A fitting tribute to the men who sacrificed their lives for a democratic world. Thanks for sharing.
A dwarf instead of a pin up. What were the original service men thinking?
What a terrible thing they destroyed all thses beautiful planes after the war.
Ürkütücü
Wow Awesome. What a Bird.
How do they get that chrome finish without adding significant weight to the airframe?
Polished aluminum.
BEAUTIFUL! So glad that we had these machines and the Japanese didn't!
HUGE & LOUD
Assembled in Wichita, Kansas…CBS Sunday Morning recently did a piece on it and had one of the surviving women assemblers next to one of the assemblies she had riveted together.
I don't know how you can keep that thing flying, but it is spectacular!
Beautiful Aircraft!
ピッカピカやな😆
These old W.W.2 aircraft are some of the most beautiful machines ever built. Had a chance to see the yankee air museum's liberator bomber up close and personal years ago. Not much room in there I can tell you, these guys had guts back then!!
Celebrating an instrument of actual war crimes. So typical of the United Snakes.
Serious aircraft porn god she’s beautiful
What a Beautiful Plane, I would really like to see one fly Odds are that will never happen
If you can get to the Oshkosh airshow this year (2023), there's a good chance there'll be a least one B-29 flying there and sometimes both.
What I'd love to see is an airworthy B-36,but it would take impossible amounts of money to get one flying and keep it maintained.
Cool landing. There's sweet spots during,,, the props are in sync,,,in an out,,,back in. Sweet! I keep a credit card size,, stamped piece of Doc's aluminum skin in my wallet,, bought from a fundraiser here in Wichita. Still a kid.
The B-29 is such a beautiful design in no small part because it was designed according to the natural principles of aerodynamics at a time when aerodynamics had matured to a science. It was not built to look a certain way because the designer wanted an artistic look to it. It's all form and function coupled with the ability to manufacture it according to those requirements with little compromise. The result is timeless elegance. An aeronautical engineer can look at the B-29's design and know the speed and altitude it was intended to fly at.
Beautiful aircraft.
That’s so awesome I wish I knew about this when it was there
Just a beautiful aircraft. I know restoration of these planes is massively expensive and I wish more public money was made available for such worthy and worthwhile issues instead of some of the BS that gets done today. Thank you for your upload it was awesome.
This one was largely rebuilt by donations and people willing to work for free
Magnificent
Just a wonderful an very special PCs of American pride an genius, just simply amazing, God Bless America.
She's a bonnie lass alright for sure. 🤠
fantastic
That is music to you ears. When I was 18 is when they was starting to go to jets. It was so much fun going to sea- tac to see the big props takeoff and the great sound😀🙂😊😄😃
What a gorgeous and imposing aircraft!❤
Eddie Allen would be proud!!!
Eddie Allen was Boeing's chief test pilot and a great one at that. He was killed along with the crew and 19 civilian workers on the ground on September 21, 1943, when the XB-29 (the second one) he was flying crashed into a building due to an engine fire.
Wish I can go back in time to ww2 and fly a B-29!!🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🦃🦃🦃
You're welcome -- "Wichita's gift to the world!"
I was there as well. I was to your left, right in front!
Quite the shiny Bird! Great to see this 75 year old (or more) airplane is still flying.
As of 2022 it's 80.. 2023 it's 81 years ago it was first flown
What immense props! Beautiful restoration.
Parece que esta muy bien restaurado
